John Maslowski
President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Maslowski serves as Fibrocell’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Scientific Affairs, with oversight of research and development, clinical and regulatory affairs. Previously, he was Vice President of Operations with responsibility for manufacturing and quality operations. Prior to joining Fibrocell, Mr. Maslowski held various positions at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (now Pfizer, Inc.), eventually serving as Quality Assurance Manager. Prior to joining Wyeth, Mr. Maslowski held various positions with Merck & Co. and Teva. Mr. Maslowski earned a B.S. in Biology from the Ursinus College and an M.S. in Biology from Villanova University.


Anna Malyala, Ph.D.
Vice President of Research and Development

Dr. Malyala serves as Fibrocell’s Vice President of Research and Development. Prior to that, Dr. Malyala served as Director of New Product Development where she drove the development and growth of Fibrocell’s product portfolio in close collaboration with the Regulatory, Clinical, Manufacturing and Corporate teams. Before joining Fibrocell, Dr. Malyala served in positions of increasing responsibility at Intrexon focused on new product planning, disease strategy and early drug development. Previously, Dr. Malyala was a Research Manager in the Healthcare Practice at Gerson Lehrman Group where she managed and executed primary research deliverables for investment firm clients. Dr. Malyala earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine.


Sean D. Buckley
Vice President of Business Administration, Corporate Secretary

Mr. Buckley serves as Fibrocell’s Vice President of Business Administration and Corporate Secretary. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Information Technology, partnering with business leaders across the company in aligning the Corporate, Financial and Manufacturing systems with the overall business strategy. Prior to joining Fibrocell, Mr. Buckley held the position of IT Manager for Tencate Advanced Composites (formerly Amber Composites, UK). Mr. Buckley earned an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland and a BSc in Internet Computing from Hull University.
