Mr. Maslowski serves as Fibrocell’s Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Scientific Affairs, with oversight of research and development, clinical and regulatory affairs. Previously, he was Vice President of Operations with responsibility for manufacturing and quality operations. Prior to joining Fibrocell, Mr. Maslowski held various positions at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (now Pfizer, Inc.), eventually serving as Quality Assurance Manager. Prior to joining Wyeth, Mr. Maslowski held various positions with Merck & Co. and Teva. Mr. Maslowski earned a B.S. in Biology from the Ursinus College and an M.S. in Biology from Villanova University.
Ms. Smith serves as Fibrocell’s Vice President of Corporate Accounting and Controller. In November 2016, Ms. Smith took on the additional role of Principal Accounting Officer. Previously, she served as Fibrocell’s Controller from January 2014 to October 2014 then as Interim Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Corporate Secretary from October 2014 to March 2015. Prior to joining Fibrocell, Ms. Smith was a financial consultant with AC Lordi Corporation working exclusively for their client, ViroPharma, Inc. Previously, Ms. Smith was a financial consultant with The Siegfried Group, LLP, representing a variety of clients including those in the life sciences industry. Prior to joining The Siegfried Group, LLP, Ms. Smith was a financial analyst for Motorola, Inc. Ms. Smith began her career as a staff, and then senior, accountant at Ernst & Young LLP. Ms. Smith earned a B.S. in Business and Economics, majoring in Accounting, from Lehigh University, where she was also an Asa Packer Scholar. Ms. Smith is a Certified Public Accountant and also holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant designation.
Mr. Buckley serves as Fibrocell’s Vice President of Business Administration and Corporate Secretary. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Information Technology, partnering with business leaders across the company in aligning the Corporate, Financial and Manufacturing systems with the overall business strategy. Prior to joining Fibrocell, Mr. Buckley held the position of IT Manager for Tencate Advanced Composites (formerly Amber Composites, UK). Mr. Buckley earned a BSc in Internet Computing from Hull University and expects to graduate in July 2017 with an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland.
