John Maslowski
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Maslowski serves as Fibrocell’s Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Scientific Affairs, with oversight of research and development, clinical and regulatory affairs. Previously, he was Vice President of Operations with responsibility for manufacturing and quality operations. Prior to joining Fibrocell, Mr. Maslowski held various positions at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (now Pfizer, Inc.), eventually serving as Quality Assurance Manager. Prior to joining Wyeth, Mr. Maslowski held various positions with Merck & Co. and Teva. Mr. Maslowski earned a B.S. in Biology from the Ursinus College and an M.S. in Biology from Villanova University.


Pamela A. Swiggard
Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance

Ms. Swiggard serves as Fibrocell’s Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance. Prior to joining Fibrocell, Ms. Swiggard served as Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Project Management of Trevena, Inc., a clinical biopharmaceutical company, where she led global strategy for regulatory affairs and provided guidance for product development. Prior to Trevena, Ms. Swiggard worked in a variety of leadership roles at Endo Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a global specialty healthcare company, including Director of R&D Project Management with responsibility for leading development projects within the company’s portfolio. Previously, Ms. Swiggard served in positions of increasing responsibility in worldwide regulatory affairs for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals that was acquired by Pfizer, Inc. in 2009. Ms. Swiggard earned a B.S. in Microbiology from The Pennsylvania State University and a M.S. in Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance from Temple University.


Sean D. Buckley
Vice President of Business Administration and Corporate Secretary

Mr. Buckley serves as Fibrocell’s Vice President of Business Administration and Corporate Secretary. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Information Technology, partnering with business leaders across the company in aligning the Corporate, Financial and Manufacturing systems with the overall business strategy. Prior to joining Fibrocell, Mr. Buckley held the position of IT Manager for Tencate Advanced Composites (formerly Amber Composites, UK). Mr. Buckley earned a BSc in Internet Computing from Hull University and expects to graduate in July 2017 with an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland.


Lisa A. Embon, CPA
Vice President, Corporate Accounting/Controller

Ms. Embon, a consultant from AC Lordi who has worked with Fibrocell since 2009, serves as the Company’s Vice President of Corporate Accounting/Controller. Ms. Embon joined AC Lordi in 2003 and became a Principal, Accounting Services of AC Lordi in 2015. Prior to her work with Fibrocell, Ms. Embon provided audit and business advisory services to companies ranging from private start-ups to multinational corporations in the life sciences, manufacturing and healthcare industries. Ms. Embon held key accounting positions for AC Lordi clients, including SEC Reporting Manager, Director of Accounting & Finance, and Controller. Prior to joining AC Lordi, Ms. Embon worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC. Ms. Embon earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Gettysburg College.
